During Lent, the Stations of the Cross will be prayed as a community from Monday to Thursday at 9:30 am – Friday at 11:30am.

This Weekend Second Collection for the Clergy Support

The Clergy Support Fund enables the Archdiocese of Southwark to care for clergy in their retirement, old age, and at their time of ill health, after their lifetime of service and devotion to Christ, His Church and His people. Donations ensure a dignified retirement for all of our priests.

Fire Marshals Training 13th March at 7.30pm in the hall.

All welcome. Altar servers, Stewards, Eucharistic Ministers and active members, are encouraged to attend.

Children’s Liturgy Group  Sunday 9.30 am Mass

Zoom Prayer Group

Do you feel that your prayer life needs a boost? Perhaps it is difficult to find the time? The Monday Prayer Group has been led by Holy Cross parishioners for a few years. It is held over Zoom at 8 p.m.  every two weeks and members also come from other Catholic parishes.

There is reflection on the Sunday gospel followed by prayers of intercession.  Meetings run for around one hour. If you are interested, please use the enquiry form on the Parish website or email the Parish office or contact Alex.

After 11am Mass a light lunch will be provided followed by discussion, games, table tennis, pool, magnetic darts, craft table etc.

National Novena to St Joseph 2026

St Joseph is the Patron of the Mill Hill Missionaries and the Novena will run from 10th to 18th March in preparation for his Feast Day on 19th March. Prayers are said to ask for God’s Blessing on the Society’s missionary outreach and for the intentions of all those who support their work. For a Novena Prayer Booklet email novenamhm@gmail.com

Lenten Friday Lunch After 12 noon Mass

ROMERO Rosary

Every Friday at 5pm during Lent, we will pray the Romero Rosary at the National Shrine of St Oscar Romero in St George’s Cathedral.

Archbishop John will personally lead the devotion on Ash Wednesday at 5pm, and again on Friday 6th March and Friday 27th March.

On all other Fridays during Lent, the Cathedral clergy will lead the Rosary, followed by the Stations of the Cross at 6pm
