Next Weekend Second Collection for the Clergy Support

The Clergy Support Fund enables the Archdiocese of Southwark to care for clergy in their retirement, old age, and at their time of ill health, after their lifetime of service and devotion to Christ, his Church and his people. Donations ensure a dignified retirement for all of our priests.

Mrs Anna Juster, RIP

a much loved Headteacher at St Mary’s Infants School, (as it was known then) between 1990 and 2008, died peacefully on 31st Jan. 26. Please pray for the family.

Korea 2027

Please contact the Parish office to register your interest for the World Youth Day pilgrimage to Korea in August 2027. The Young Adults are planning to raise money and funds for that big event. Thank you.

We Dare to Hope: session 5:  Hope is placed in God

Mon. 9th Feb. 7:30pm – Upper Room

These faith-sharing sessions on Christian hope are written by the Dominican Sisters in the New Forest and produced by the Agency for Evangelisation and Catechesis.  Everyone welcome. The sessions explore the following themes through Scripture, prayer, art and reflection.

If you would like to join our ecumenical Lenten discussion groups, commencing week of 23 February, please contact Adrian Clifton on adrian.clifton@gmail.com. Please sign the form in the porch. Both in-person and Zoom groups will be available.

Ambassadors for Christ: A Catholic apologetics resource.

The Archdiocese of Southwark has launched an exciting apologetics project to provide evidence-based answers to questions such as “Is Jesus God?” or “does prayer work?”. Ambassadors for Christ is designed to equip you with a deeper understanding of your faith, so you can confidently answer questions and be a joyful witness for the Lord Jesus and his Church. Every Monday, a new video will be posted on YouTube, along with a worksheet to enable parishes, schools, youth groups and families to use them as part of their faith formation. Friday Tea & Lunch After 12 noon Mass

We will start again with Homemade soup & Dessert on Friday 13th February. Donations will go to St Raphael Hospice and Sister Gabriel School (Fr Desis in Uganda). Thank you for your continuous support.

ROMERO Rosary

Every Friday at 5pm during Lent, we will pray the Romero Rosary at the National Shrine of St Oscar Romero in St George’s Cathedral.

Archbishop John will personally lead the devotion on Ash Wednesday at 5pm, and again on Friday 6th March and Friday 27th March.

On all other Fridays during Lent, the Cathedral clergy will lead the Rosary, followed by the Stations of the Cross at 6pm
