We Dare to Hope

Starts Monday 12th January, 7:30pm in the Upper Room

Session 3, 26th January

We Dare to Hope features five faith-sharing sessions on the theme of Christian Hope. Written by the Dominican Sisters in the New Forest and produced by the Agency for Evangelisation and Catechesis, the sessions explore the following themes through Scripture, prayer, art and reflections:

  1. Christian Hope is received from God (12th Jan);
  2. Hope is a human decision (19th Jan);
  3. Hope is a human act (26th Jan);
  4. Hope is a human desire (2nd Feb);
  5. Hope is placed in God (9th Feb)

Come along to start 2026 in thanksgiving for the gift of hope!

Journey in Faith 2025 – 2026 (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)

It is the process by which adults can prepare to be received into the Catholic Church.  It is an opportunity to grow in their knowledge of Jesus and their relationship with Him. Weekly sessions take people through the key teachings of the Catholic Church and look at the issues facing Catholics in today’s world.  Please speak to the RCIA co-ordinator, Kathy Ball if you want more information.  edmsutton@rcaos.org.uk

Session: Thursdays at 7.30pm.

We joyfully welcome Kimberly, Chika, Lorraine and Jason into the Church and into our parish community. They have received the sacraments of initiation at the Easter Vigil 2025.
