Journey in Faith 2024 – 2025 (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
It is the process by which adults can prepare to be received into the Catholic Church. It is an opportunity to grow in their knowledge of Jesus and their relationship with Him. Weekly sessions take people through the key teachings of the Catholic Church and look at the issues facing Catholics in today’s world.
Sessions continue in the evening on THURS 21st November. at 7:45 pm, parish centre. If you are interested, please speak to the RCIA co-ordinator, Kathy Ball, or contact her via the contact form on the parish website.

Parish Process November 2021
All parishioners are warmly encouraged to engage in the synodal process as described in last week’s newsletter.
Pope Francis is encouraging us all to speak up, listen and pray about how we engage with Jesus, The Church and our Parish.

Members of your parish synod team are Alex Faircloth, Kathy Ball, Matthew David, Pauline Hall and Trisha Higgins.
Two delegates from this team will give feedback from our parish meetings at the next stage of the process.

Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand! (Matt 11:15). Pope Francis has initiated a listening process for discussion in 2023. Holy Cross has already contributed to this. We need now to discuss the feedback the Diocese received from all the parishes. More importantly we should meet to help fulfil this listening process at ‘home’ in Holy Cross. Summaries of responses from the listening phase can be found on the website.
