Pope Francis RIP Requiem Mass – Monday 28th April at 7pm

A Mass for our Late Holy Father, Pope Francis will be held here at Holy Cross.

Archbishop John Wilson statement on Pope Francis : The death of Pope Francis fills me with great sorrow. This pain and sadness will not only be felt within our Church, it will also resonate deeply around the world, especially in the poorest and most marginalised communities.

Archbishop John: let Pope Francis’ legacy be one of love. In a message to the Archdiocese, following the death of Pope Francis, Archbishop John Wilson called on us to imitate the Holy Father and be witnesses to the Gospel. The Archbishop said “let Pope Francis’s legacy be a legacy of love” and called on us to be like the Holy Father by being “a witness to the Gospel, a witness to the love and mercy of Christ, and never be afraid to speak the truth of the Lord Jesus and his saving Gospel”. You can watch or read the full message at rcaos.org.uk/legacyoflove.
