Second Collection Next Weekend for the Maintenance Of St George’s Cathedral, the mother Church of the diocese. This collection helps meet with the cost of the upkeep of the Cathedral.

Easter Offerings
Your personal gift to the Priests of the Parish, envelopes are at the back of the Church. You may know that the Clergy do not receive a salary as such and rely upon the Christmas and Easter Offerings to supplement any donation received through Mass Stipends and Stole Fees for Baptisms, Funerals, and Weddings.
Divine Mercy Sunday Prayer here at Holy Cross 3pm on Sunday 27th April. Divine MERCY Novena Starts GOOD FRIDAY and finishes on Divine Mercy Sunday.
Please join us on weekdays before 10.00 am Mass to recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.. Or you can say the Chaplet privately at a time which fits with your work, study hours.
Archdiocesan Jubilee Celebration Day at The Friars, Aylesford 7 June 25. This will be the centre-piece event of the Jubilee in the Archdiocese of Southwark. A walking pilgrimage will also be from St George’s Cathedral in Southwark to The Friars (2-6 June 2025). The event itself is free. With St Elphege’s we are putting on a coach for the day itself, so to join, please add your name on the list in the porch and contact the Parish office to book and pay. The price per person is £18. Pre-booking for the 90-minute ministry sessions for children (KS1+2) and young people (KS3+4) will commence at 11am on Wednesday 30 April at aec.rcaos.org.uk/jubileecelebration. Journey in Faith 2024 – 2025 (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
We joyfully welcome Kimberly, Chika, Lorraine and Jason into the Church and into our parish community. They have received the sacraments of initiation at the Easter Vigil.Thursday evening sessions resume on 24th April.

Pilgrimage to Pentecost
A course designed to guide participants on a spiritual pilgrimage towards Pentecost. A group will be meeting here in the hall at Holy Cross at 2:30pm on Fridays, starting 2nd May. Everyone welcome. Missio Red Box 2024 : A Big Thank You!
In 2024 Holy Cross Parish raised at total of £3663.28 through the Red Boxes and direct payments. Thank you so much! Our missionary community here is part of a worldwide network of people supporting missionaries overseas through prayer and financial assistance. Within the Diocese of Southwark our parish has donated the fifth highest amount out of 181 Churches. What an achievement! We are encouraged to make a pilgrimage at some stage during this year. Individuals or small groups might consider visiting one or more of these locations before 28 December 2025. In so doing, it is possible to obtain a plenary indulgence. Within south-west London these locations are:

Fr Luke’s Pilgrimage To Hosanna House – Lourdes
This Jubilee Year 2025, we travel by Ryanair fom Stansted on Saturday 30 August and return on Saturday 6 September. The cost per person is £1200, maximum (depending on numbers, may be less with larger numbers of pilgrims). Thank you Fr Luke.
