All went well. 273 were able to come to one of the Masses, divided into

39 – Saturday 6.30pm;  55 – Sunday 8am,  , 23 – 9.00am;  55 – 10.00am; 55 – 11.00am and 46 – 6.30pm.

There’s space for 55 people, socially distanced, at any Mass.

Thanks for £728.58  given last  weekend  through the collection plate, of which £567.13 was given via Gift Aid.

 

Please pray for confirmandi and First Communicants but avoid their Masses so as to allow distanced space for family groups.

*****Please note this Newsletter was printed before the Governments decision to have a 4 week lockdown nationwide. As such much has changed since 31st October.
Once again there can be no public Masses from Thursday 5th November: Confirmations have been changed from Tuesday and Thursday to Tuesday and Wednesday; First Communions have had to be postponed until 2021.********

Holy Cross is reopening for Mass, Confirmation and . First Communion begin next weekend! Choirs (within the legal restraints) begin this weekend. Prayer Group (see overleaf). So long as there isn’t a three tier lockdown, we’re holding our own against the virus!  We shall overcome.
