Mass Intentions. The greatest gift you can give a loved one deceased or living is the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass.  We have the opportunity to offer such Mass for your own intentions and for them. Most of our Masses have no Intention and we encourage parishioners to offer Masses.

Please pick a Mass envelope at the back of the Church to book a Mass, together with your offering either drop it in the Sacristy or through the Letter box of the Presbytery.

Thank you very much.

Confessions.  The Confessions will be in the Confessional Box on Saturdays after the 10.00am Mass and in the evening from 5.45pm. Alternatively you can request one, anytime during the weekdays. However, there will be no Confessions during Sundays before Masses.

St. Philomena’s School Open Evening rescheduled.  The Open Evening will be “on Tuesday 14th Sept 2021.” for “Year 5 Students” only by appointment. Visit school’s website to book a place (Some details on the poster in the parish notice board.) www.stphils.org.uk

Covid – 19 Guide line for Churches.  Following the new Guide-line and the with the meeting that was held with a few parishioners we can now announce that the Mass attendance has been increased to 80 from this weekend. We however would kindly request that the existing requirements such as Face Masks etc still be kept.

(Full details are on the Parish website on the Home page)

Besides, we need more volunteers to clean and sanitizer the Church after every Mass as at the moment there are only a few doing that.

Do make use of the Cards that are provided by the Stewards and Volunteers if you feel vulnerable.

Thank you so much for your cooperation

RCIA Publicity at the Masses. The Catechists of the RCIA Programme will be speaking this weekend at all the Masses about this year’s Programme after the Holy Communion. Thank you so much.

School Forms.   I will be signing School Forms this week on Wednesday and Friday from 11hrs to 14hrs and from 18hrs to 20hrs at the Parish Centre due to unavailability of space at the Presbytery at the moment.  Please do not bring your Forms into the Sacristy. Thank you.

May they rest in peace.

We remember those who died in our prayers, especially Fr. Paul Sanders, Ted Morton, Rita Gomez, Nick Roche, Ann Teresa Firmo, Ann Deidre O’Reilly, Stephen O’Dwyer, Rebecca Wilson, Ellen Howard, John Stacey…

Remember to pray for the Sick and Housebound in the Parish.
