Altar Servers The Guild of St Stephen’s Mass for ALL  servers will take place Wednesday 26th December, St Stephen’s Day, 10am. Medals will be presented to all who have served for more than a year, and the blue cord will replace the red cord for those who have served 5 years or more.

 Sr Gabriella Comprehensive, Lira Uganda: We have a little scheme to help build up a library at the school. Why not take a couple of books (for now, from Fr Paul), consisting of literature, and also geography, ‘trade’ books and any other useful subject, and send them out there? postal address  Fr Deogratas,  P.O. 311, Lira, Uganda.

Christmas is coming Any presents for young children of prisoners on Banstead Downs would be welcomed – wrapped with label ‘boy/girl’, and suggested age of recipient.

 Christmas Hamper Raffle in aid of Home Start, a national charity which recuits and trains volunteers to help families with young children, who may be finding it hard to cope because of illness, the disability of a child, post-natal depression, bereavement or loneliness.

UCM members will start collecting from the weekend of 17th/18th November after all the Masses. See poster on the board in church porch.

The Draw will take place, Sunday 16th December, after the Carol Service.
