Priest Training Fund Second Collection…… (Next Week)  Next week is the World Day of Prayer for Vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life. As members of the Church, we are encouraged to pray earnestly for an increase in priestly and religious vocations. Next week we take up the second collection in support of the Priest Training Fund, which pays for the formation of Southwark Seminarians and Deacons and the good work of our vocations team. Please be generous to this appeal. Your gifts will support 7 men currently in formation to the Priesthood for our Diocese. There will be a donation envelope available at Mass today, which can be used to Gift Aid your donation. You can also donate online via www.rcsouthwark.co.uk/vocations.htm, by scanning the QR code, or via telephone on 020 7960 2504 (office hours Monday – Friday). Thank you for your prayers and generosity.

MISSIO NEWS………………………………………..

Despite the difficulties of 2020, Missio supporters have continued to give generously and the amount raised at Holy Cross was £2004.11 (This includes on line donations and direct debits). Thank you so much for continuing to support the Charity financially and the missionaries around the world. I will be contacting Missio Red Box holders individually on the best way to gather in the monies. You can donate directly to Missio through their website which is missio.org.uk  Thank you.

For the security of the Church, from now on will the last person to leave the Church after any service or activity please ensure the following: that the Sanctuary and Church doors to the Sacristies are secured and the outer and inner doors to the Church are bolted from the inside. You can then leave by the door to the Parish Centre, but please ensure that you close that door firmly behind you and check that it is secure. The security and safety of the Church and our Priest is the collective responsibility of us all!

Zoe, Ava, Amber, and Eliza have been baptised recently.

Congratulations to their parents too! Sending blessing of love, happiness and health on your joyous journey with our Lord!

New baptisms: Concerning preparations, contact Tim & Cherryl on cherrylhowlett @gmail.com  or Natacha on natachacrosdale@gmail.com
